This explains how to pair a DataLogic Quickscan QBT2400 Wireless Bluetooth Barcode Scanner with an iPhone or iPad, if you are using a different model of bluetooth scanner you should follow the instructions for pairing that came with the scanner.

The QBT2400 is normally used in conjunction with the MYPOS Stock App, to pair the scanner to an iPhone/iPad follow the below steps

The Pairing process needs to be completed in a fairly fast time frame, otherwise the pairing will fail and you will need to start again, we would recommend reading the steps through first so you understand the process before attempting to pair.

To begin pairing, scan the below QR code using the barcode scanner

On the iPhone/iPad go to the 'Settings' app and choose 'Bluetooth' make sure bluetooth is turned on (button showing green) the scanner should appear under  'Other Devices'

Click on the name of the Quick Scan Device that shows under 'Other Devices' and a Pairing code will appear on screen

Scan the code into the scanner by using the correct QR codes from the image below, you may prefer to print these codes out to make scanning easier.

To complete the pairing scan the finish code below

if the pairing is successful the device will show under the 'My Devices' section, if the pairing fails you will need to restart from the first step
