Order/Receipt Lookup
Via the Receipt Lookup function you can find and reprint receipts for previous orders and process refunds for any order that has been processed through the MYPOS8 system.
Login to MYPOS 8 and select the 'Receipt' button from the top menu bar
This will bring up a list of receipts in Date & Time order, with the most recent at the top.
There are a variety of different ways you can search for a receipt:
1 - You can scroll through the receipts looking at the time & date to find the receipt you are looking for
2 - You can search by selecting the employee that processed the transaction - if you click the drop down arrow next to in this case 'Alice', it will bring up the list of all the employees, by selecting an employee it will show their transactions.
3 - If you know the receipt number this can be entered in the far right hand box to bring up that receipt.
4 - If you have customer details in the system you can also do a Customer Search to bring up a particular customers receipts.
5- (Optional Setting) You can scan the barcode from the bottom of a receipt to bring up the receipt in the lookup function, this is generally used for locating orders to process refunds
If you click the button 'Up-to-Date' you can amend the date of which you want to see receipts up to, allowing you to narrow a search.
To Exit this screen once you have finished click Exit to take you back to the Homepage screen.
