Daily Banking Tills is an optional MYPOS 8 and MYPOS 10 Function that allows cashing up and reconciling of cash drawers to be recorded and reported via the MYPOS Portal. If you have access to the Daily Banking Function it will appear on the left hand side of the portal under your other portal roles, pressing 'tills' will bring up the listing page for The Tills Daily Banking function, you can select a store from the drop down menu (once picked your preferred store will be remembered for future login's on the same device)

On the listing page you will see a list of all previously completed daily banking sessions, to begin with this will be empty until you have used the function for the first time.

Daily banking can be competed on the date of the session, or the following day, sessions are locked and unable to be edited once this date range has passed, so for example for a z session on the 1st April you can complete the banking 'Today' on the 1st or 'Yesterday' on the 2nd April, if you forget to complete the banking within this date range the date will become locked, we are unable to unlock this or grant any access should the date be missed.

To select the daily banking form for the current day press 'today' to select the daily banking for the previous day press 'yesterday'

The Top half of the daily banking form is data entered by the user during the course of the days trade, at the beginning of the day a 'Till Float' should be recorded, there is the option for this field to be autofilled by a float declaration in the MYPOS 10 till app, contact us if you would like to enable this.

The second half of the daily banking form is data loaded from MYPOS



If there is a discrepancy between the counted and MYPOS figures a Discrepancy Reason box will show allowing you to record a reason for the discrepancy.



Press 'Save' to save your progress, once all cash drawers have been entered and you have completed your banking and reconciliation press 'save and finalise' this will lock your daily banking entry and prevent any further editing.
